It is also clear that the founding fathers knew this stuff was coming and they designed a system with checks, balances and elections to ensure "governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed". We just had an election less than a year ago. People who are unhappy about this have a chance to change things at the ballot box in 2010 and 2012. The system was designed that way.
