Investors,NOBODY's FOOL!We ain't buying it any more!
It used to be so easy for Market Makers,Investment Brokers and the like to fool and manipulate the unsuspecting investors. With the advent of the Internet, information is not a privilage of the few but it is easily available to anybody who wants it. Investors have become more sauvy, diligent and sophisticated, they simply do not take advice from the so called experts any more, they do their own research, use discount brokers, make their own decisions and take calculated risks.
The 'upgrade/dowgrade' crap that these people try to shove up our throat, is not easly swallowed and timidly accepted. They are sick and tried of these MANIPULATORS, and they are not going to take it any more!!!!!!

SO MUCH FOR THE DOWNGRADE TODAY ON CPQ,DELL,INTC ETC. CPQ IS ALREADY UP,Dell and Intel will soon follow. They can fool some of us some time, but they can't surely not fool all of us all the time.

Mohan: Markets 1:T.Kerlak 0;Markets 1:UBS 0.This is my take this AM.
After the double whammy TK and UBS, with the Naz down 20 points I would have expected Intel to go further down.Instead 20 min into the market it quickly started swimming upstream. My take is

-that the Merrill and UBS clients are actively, " buying on the dips", gg!, ( which is what you are supposed to do isn't it?gg, on a strong stock that is).

- they've been holding the INTCWs @ ~ 58.2, A NICE PREMIUM on the $ 50
you snatched them 2 days ago, asking you, " PLEEESE sell them to me at 58 so I can turn and sell them at 70+, gg.
-unfortunately I think that TK & UBS are trying to bite a bigger mouthful than they can.Intel afficionados know better. The time to buy a company with sizzlig sales in spring summerof next year is now.
-wouldn't be surprised if Intel hits 85 next week.

Here are the broker reccommendations you asked:

-SELL: So everybody panics, dumps the stock and we buy, while it crashes, GIANT amounts.
-HOLD: a milder version of the above.Sinc WE (Brokers that is ) own so much of this stock already, we don't want the price to completely go into the basement (60-70% decline,gg ); 20-30% is enough, gg.

-ACCUMMULATE:Now we have LARGE amounts of Intel in our hands and we need to SLOWLY start drawing in as many suckers in as we can for the big climaxing sale.

-BUY:Here we go now; get ready for take off!! EVERYBODY get in!!And finally....
-A STRONG BUY: This is the real thing: stock up several points in the next 3 days to weeks. At this point all the suckers come in who want to buy a stock up 20-30 points.

And AT THIS VERY POINT guys, gals, we, (the brokers and analysts ) get off!! gg.
Good buy suckers.Ready for the next round.
