OT -- how lame -- are people still so unthinking that they fall for such partisan pablum? "they got the scalp of...Van Jones..." no, "they" merely found and played video of him calling republicans "assholes" in a public speech, and reported, as is their job, other bizarre actions he's taken in public life -- and the dude resigned.

"Czar" sounds scary, I guess, because it's a Russian word. Communists are taking over the government! Of course, the last real Russian Czar, Nicholas II, was executed by communists in 1918, so the historical reference is nonsensical."

...here the author offers up a ridiculous objection to obama's many czar appointments based on word origin - ignoring the serious ones actually being made -- and then calls it, what he himself proposes, "nonsensical" - lol!

this is a pathetic and thoroughly dishonest article you've posted by, apparently, a half-wit.

now, *here* is an article on a similar theme by someone who can truly think:

>>One of the sillier examples of this is the crusade, by Glenn Beck and others, against Obama administration "czars."<<

i think some americans are concerned about unelected, unvetted people running the show. it isn't like he has one or two, he has 30 and it is a reasonable issue given LOTS of power is being given to unelected and unvetted people.

>>but most of them are well-credentialed.<<

so what? unelected, unvetted, lots of power and influence over the people. some, apparently, so bad that they have to resign.

why not just appoint a treasury secretary or secretary of state, congressional vetting and approval be d*mned?

there are agregious attacks on obama, but this isn't one of them.

now, how come the financial oligarchs passed a bankruptcy law preventing many ordinary citizens from filing bankruptcy - the same citizens that will be sent the bill for trillions used to prevent the financial oligarchs from, you got it, FILING BANKRUPTCY.
