Sure I read your message-----this is 2009 and not the sixties. Technology has freed all of us up to do things we had not dreamed of in the 1960's. My mother was the Center for her high school basket ball team in the 1930's-----women's rules----not in sports? Really? In your millieu perhaps women were treated like property, in my millieu that was not so. Women were treated and are treated with respect------a marriage was and is a partnership. The 1960's were thriving----the main problem were the drug problems for the hippies and their desire to travel the USA in their Hippie vans (to see the world)-------and those problems still exist---heck we have a titular President who used drugs, perhaps that is what is wrong with the rather lamebrain socialist decisions he is making.
