"I mentioned tabula rasa as a metaphor for moral innocence and sinlessness--as in stainless from immoral deeds."

That was pretty obvious. Do you consider criminals to be morally innocent? If not then why mention it at all? I have asked this question: (Are you against criminals receiving Justice?) at least a couple of times and you seem to be avoiding it. Is there a reason?

"The suggestion that these people are being given a fair opportunity to overcome ignorance or misunderstanding is conveniently scornful."

But of course these criminals fully understand what they are doing and are not ignorant at all. It really does seem that you don't like the idea that criminals should receive justice.

"As I said, it is like failing to prevent an accident where the bridge is out."

Yes, you have repeated this fallacious analogy a couple of times but it fails to recognize that these criminals deliberately and in a premeditative fashion, broke the Law and crashed through the big flashing sign that said "BRIDGE OUT! IF YOU PROCEED YOU WILL DIE".

"They obviously DID NOT understand that eternal torment and torture was being prepared for them..."

I don't know about that: Evil people continue to do evil things in spite of the known consequences all the time. If God reached down and slammed the brakes on would they not just curse God and hijack another car? If they did that and God kept intervening, would you not complain about a meddling God taking away their freedom? Probably.

"So why condemn people to Hell for holding honest and sincere beliefs???"

The Bible clearly teaches that people go to hell for willfully breaking the Law. Luke 16: is no different in this regard and for you to pretend otherwise is to obviously twist the meaning of the passage which is what you have been doing from the start.

("God knows a man's heart")

"Apparently. That is why he chose to save a sinner like Noah and then later the devil, Lot?? Really showing Godly brainpower and Godly heart by saving these two sick wretches, eh??"

Do you think that you are any better than they are? It's called Grace my friend, and you need it just as much as anyone else. God doesn't need or ask for permission to give it to whom ever He wants.

I'm off to watch the Habs and Pittsburg. See you later
