Nothing in the passage indicates that his brothers were criminals. NOTHING WHATSOEVER. There is no indication whatsoever that they were criminals. If they had been criminals it would have been noted. Instead they are accused of "NOT LISTENING" which perhaps means nothing more than not understanding. Certainly they were not criminals. They were our brothers and sisters. They might have had ADD. They might have been mentally slow or of low IQ. They might have been brilliant and desirous of leading humanity to peace and reason by moving beyond what had (AND HAS) every indication of being primitive nonsense. If it wasn't/isn't ignorant and primitive nonsense it wasn't/isn't any reason to torture such great and compassionate and rational souls for all of eternity when some straight proof would have brought them onside for the mutual purpose of caring for humankind. Nobody on this thread needs to study any philosopher or philosophy to understand that. Even an existentialist understands that cowardice and sacrifice of others is a poor reason for living and a transparent picture of no guts and no heart. You give false witness in the Luke passage to ordinary people as "criminals" but you agree with God that Noah and Lot were upright and perfect little fu-kers...
