. It appears obvious that he will do that eventually and no more brave men and women should lose their lives if the country does not support them. The ROE that kills these Marines comes right from the Oval Office. They don't want to offend the Afghans. If we are going to allow them to be used for pop-up targets, then to hell with it. I have an exceptionally tough time with it because a lot of these Marines come over to Waikiki to celebrate before shipping out for Helmand Provence. 19-year-olds who haven't a clue. They end up having a few beers at Jimmy Buffets. I have to bit my tongue not to say anything to them about how I feel.

I feel like that too, and in the future I think if our country can't support our troops to the max in the field, then we should not get into any wars. Being nice to soldiers over here and having bumper stickers does not cut it. I sincerely blame anti-war zealots for the length and carnage of our wars. If they would shut the hell up, we could get in and out with out all this suffering. They disgraced my generation during the Viet Nam years and are doing it again with their endless sniveling. No matter how many times or how loudly they condemn war, they make it infinitely worse by their interference. I'll say it again: Shut the hell up, you people who say you hate war. You're just prolonging it, you idiots.
