I have laid it out over a dozen or so posts now. I don't know any other way to communicate it. Your brain apparently won't register the notion that you can have national commonality without imposing it through regulation. It is in industry's interests to have commonality, the states sure don't need the additional workload of reinventing the wheel, consumers would prefer commonality, the feds would like commonality, all the forces are in favor of consensus on basic elements of insurance policies. The forces against are lawyers and state lobbies. Surely those aren't the good guys with whom we want to stand. Surely they can be overcome.
