Great post Slider except for one thing.

You boldly speak out about many things but your silence on the role of the Israel lobby in all this is hard to understand

It largely dictates the mideast policy agenda of both parties and is doing its best to get us involved in a war with Iran.

And a war with Iran would greatly accelerate all the negative trends you describe.

Many of the bankers you rightly rail against are dual loyalist Zionist Jews.

We certainly agree that politics, and not economics, will determine how this crisis is resolved.
