There are different ways of knowing , the most reliable of which is self evidence confirmed by experience and the wisdom of other. I am human and I know what that is, even though I lack the ability to prove it beyond self evidence. I know I was born with the potential to rise above the more base and mundane of attractions. I know this gives life its meaning, transcending time and circumstance. I know what to do as each situation will test my nature… right a wrong, say no when called upon by the broad grinned winkers, stand in the way of a snow balling agenda, do some good for the sake of goodness? I know what to do. I know what will happen. If I take a noble stand, my character will be forged and purified; if I do anything else, I risk turning to self loathing mush. I know what will happen. Denying what you know is like claiming to soar while sporting a broken wing.
