Then in just a couple of hundred years we have reached the intellectual sophistication we see today. Only one other time in the history of mankind did civilzation reign and that was the ancient Greeks until Rome totally destroyed them burning all their librarys and books. A mere fraction of their wisdom remains to this day. The Dark ages and The Age of Enlightenment are appropriately named.
