RE: Where does the Rocket fit? ***OFF TOPIC (SYQT)***

>> What is this "rocket technology"? I'm curious. At low density end, there is zip, mid, Jaz, high, the looming DVD. What does syquest fit?(ws) <<

Good point. Rocket is a little under 5GB, so it fits at the high end. It should have nearly hard drive speed, so that's the "advantage" over DVD. I think they'll have a [limited] market for it, and it could be profitable if they price it right. I see more Rocket competition from high-end hard drives than from DVD.

NOTE: Please don't take this as a recommendation for SYQT the stock. The company is in aweful shape financially. The stock has faced, is facing, and will face massive dilution. Their current products continue to lose ground to Iomega.
