Actually, I considered the invasion of Iraq to be a criminal act but Bush and my Congressmen did not listen to me. Mainstream U.S. media do not cover events that run counter what those in power want them to see, such as huge antiwar demonstrations or big demos against bailing out wealthy criminal banksters. As Leonard Cohen sang, "the revolution is over, the bad guys won.". I just sit, watch the great unwinding, and prepare for myself and family as best i can while the oligarchy does what it does. But Iran is seriously misreading their tea leaves; I, reiterate, I feel sorry for the Iranian people. The Palestians have been hung out to dry by their Arab "brethren" for decades to keep attention from their own corrupt fiefdoms. Jordan's King Hussein killed more Palestinians than the Israelis have in 60 years. SG

A campaign re-election strategy by an incompetent president running for re-election in a country dominated by low information voters. Of course the US is also the biggest, meanest mo-fo in the neighborhood and can crap on whoever they want with equanimity. Iran cannot, and continuation on their present course will unfortunately result in another Hiroshima on the site of present day Teheran.
