Yes, Navio merged with Network Computer, Inc (NCI), an affliate of ORCL back in August. See pathfinder.com@@D9uMtgUAjSy2cPmh/net/latest/RB/1997Aug13/498.html and biz.yahoo.com

Navio & NCI's technology is focused on the fusing of web-browsing & broadcasting for next generation TVs. The equity interest of NCI is held by Both ORCL & NSCP.

Bottom line, if ORCL wants complete ownership of NCI, it doesn't have to purchase NSCP, just NSCP's equity interest in NCI.

Hey Ramsey! You seem to be everywhere that I am. LOR, ORCL, QCOM, DIGI. We're either going to get rich (maybe "er" in your case :) ) together or extremely frustrated trying.

I bailed out of CA in the high 70's and put it into ORCL in the low-mid 30's. Why? I don't know. Seemed like a good thing to do on a relative basis. ORCL seems to be trying to move up, but the market is keeping a lid on tight.

Mike

yes you are correct. i forgot all about that.

good point. they are already in bed with netscape so why spend the money and take the risk, when they are already working together.

i think a takeover of informix would be better for oracle than netscape. the price is also right for taking over informix, due to its low price.
