Gary, it makes perfect sense to me. IOM has gone beyond being the Rodney Dangerfield of stocks. It's now the stock of Dorian Gray.

SYQT reports huge losses this Q and no profits on the horizon for at least another Q (the traditional blowout Q at that!) - it's stock goes up

IMN reports huge losses and layoffs - it's stock goes up

IOM's reported great earnings, and expects a very huge quarter - it's stock goes down.

Wasn't it Oscar Wilde who coined the bon mot "No good deed goes unpunished" ?

>>I can't believe that no one is discussing the Imation fiasco today

They're cutting their employees back by a large number.

Combine that with Syjunk's bad report, and the only winner in the industry is Iomega.

Cheer up. (If anyone needs to, it is me...I own 3 stocks and the only good one is Iomega)<<

Typical news on a day IOM goes down...good news hardly seems to affect this stock now.
