Apple Tablet Aiming To Redefine Newspapers, Textbooks and Magazines:

This is what I'm saying. Don't think of it as a computer - think of it as the best paperback novel you've ever read.

If the thing does nothing but deliver a high quality reading experience - and stunningly easy access to readable content - it will be a massive success. That's "all" it has to do to sell in the tens of millions!

DG,

I saw the gizmodo article and then saw your link to it here. I was wondering, like you have, what the appeal of an Apple tablet would be. I think the article answers the question very nicely. I think the gizmodo piece is an important read for anyone invested in Apple. If the reports of the tablets and talks are true and if Apple does the tablet correctly, this could be another huge source of revenue for Apple and not only that, increase its importance in the delivery of digital content to the home, school and possible business. I had read an article that talked about a Ballmer interview and it would seem to me that he just doesn't get how everything fits together(I think someone on this thread placed a link to an article that commented on this interview-also an interesting read).
