Yes. I'm now thinking if it as exactly what you said. "stunningly easy access to readable content." And way, way more than that, once it becomes a platform to drive peripherals, which I now fully expect will happen, in the future. This is going to be one hell of a computing revolution!

As a dear friend of mine, Robb Mitchell, just wrote to me:

"As you might also know from my rants and raves, I believe we are seeing a big shift in consumer acceptance of software. The big monopolists like Microsoft and Adobe have poisoned the waters with huge expensive office suite and creative suites packages that have pushed small developers out of the market. I think software buyers are going over in large numbers to buying small thin apps that are inexpensive, can be quickly downloaded on-the-go and solution specific rather than bloatware. Apple has downloaded over 2 billion of these apps and if they are smart they will make them and the Apps Store the cornerstone of the new tablet platform."
