This is the main one and most important thing that separates us from every other civilization in recorded history. This is why America is special.

it is such an important concept that I thought every American understood. It's why we are able to use the word "freedom".

Obviously either some people were cutting class to go smoke a bongload or our schools stopped teaching the most basic and most important concepts on which this country was founded.

I am in shock.

This is why America is special. Dumbfounding that some of our own citizens don't even understand this.

Find in the bible where God granted rights. Natural rights may have been born from free will, but God did not give us the right to sin. Rights are political not religious. However, I understand the concept, but it is not part of the constitution.
