Cisco: You make some excellent points. When i pulled up the company press release I just naturally used the numbers that they presented, and used the side by side comparisons they made. I should have gone back and gotten last quarters numbers, as you did, before erroneously generalizing. Having said that however I still think the stock is going to be punished for continually missing expectations bigtime. There are many companies, which I'm sure you know, who would have come out publically, warning investors well before now that sales were slowing for legitimate reasons, and that earnings would be below expectations. It bothers me when the stock loses 20% of its value just before the announcement (somebody was making a killing); when the CEO is selling off shares, and then we're hit with an earnings surprise -- it didn't have to be a surprise at all !!
