I never gave birthdays a second thought until I reached my 70th. All of a sudden I realized how many obits are for people my age! Thankfully, I'm pretty healthy, in spite of being really sick on my birthday, yesterday. That cost me a chance to shake hands with Mr. Smithee while he was in town. Feeling better this morning but not back to my usual self.

For some reason, I just don't like to celebrate birthdays. And sorry about the grumpiness............the older I get the more mellow I get.........although the fools in WDC aren't helping on the rage front.

I like to ask myself "how important is it." I find that 90% of everything is not very important, and adjust accordingly. ;)
