Ed, Many thanks....your explanatory post put the nail in it, I'm stayin' out of these things. Though I'm still active in daily monitoring the markets, I am finding my deteriorating mental agility to be a real handicap in short term trades dependent on timing skills...and from your and all the other posts so generously provided in answer to my query, it's evident that these skills are definitely called for to be successful . Guess I'll stick with what has worked for me over the past 2-3 yrs, at least during the up markets, and which has enabled me to effectively limit my losses during this year's crazy market....just gettin' tired of waiting for my version of a validated recovery, and "skeered" spitless of another return to the bottom. I'm highly dependent on strategies I've developed using TA tactics mostly and shamelessly gleaned from Dabum's teachings. I'm sincerely grateful to this guy for the contributions he's made for the board....hope he stays around for a while longer. Good luck to all of you...feels good to still be amongst you! Buck
