What does a political affiliation have to do with infant mortality?

Its more likely causally related to socioeconomic factors....

DC highest with a list of southern states following .... looks like higher infant mortality rates are linked to blacks as percent of the population.

as for blue/red states I see AK, UT, ND, ID have low rates and they're not blue.

Back to the US News and World Report article I linked to earlier:

Lower infant mortality tracks with fewer teen pregnancies, married as opposed to single mothers, less obesity and smoking, more education, and moms pregnant with babies that they are utterly intent on having.

>> Here's an interesting statistic...with few exceptions here and there, the bluest states have the lowest infant mortality and the reddest ones the highest.

Why are you now changing the subject?

You asked me for proof, he was kind enough to give it to you in spades, so you mosey on to another subject.

It isn't just about you being wrong on these limited topics. It is about you being clueless on the entire health care issue. While you are providing the liberal talking points on a daily basis, the routine is the same: We shoot your arguments down, you change the subject, and come back tomorrow.

I think it is clear that on this issue the liberals ought to just leave it to other people to do. Because you can't make a cogent, fact-based argument. It is just so much demagoguery and nothing more.
