I understand the spin of the question perfectly. When Japan and Korea found that the rebates were illegal Intel choose not to appeal them to court. Obviously, they must have agreed with those findings. They settled and accepted JFTC's remedy and payed a fine with the KFTC for being guilty in violating Korea's Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act. Spin away boys.
