><>...Hi mn, and thanks for your reply...><> No I am not keying in the Bible. It is a software program. Actually it is even good for me for I do a lot of reading while I am working on it. The word of God is all powerful and so alive . >>>"Perhaps you could relate to us some methodologies you have found effective in your spiritual practice. I realize it may be difficult to separate practice from concept; but I believe the truth and methods to attain it are constant; no matter what the 'language' we speak.">>> mn, There are no methods per se, I just talk with God as though He were sitting right next to me...(I know that He is). This I do throughout my day. There are also many times throughout the week that I set aside and dedicate time to be with God alone. These times are quite special and very rewarding. Most of the time I spend with God it is to give thanks and praise just because He Is !. Other times I do have requests that I put before Him....I have never been disappointed.! God our Father is real , He is alive and all powerful. He knows what we need and what we want and gives us both, if the what we want won't in any way cause harm And we give Him all the praise and Glory. I have a very close walk with my Heavenly Father, but I dare say, not as close as it could be, so I continue to strive to get closer. One way I do that is to know Him better, and the way I do that is to read, with my heart and mind, His Holy word in His Letter to us, the Bible. The words just jump off the pages as we open our hearts to understand His ways and His love for us. Knowing in our hearts that He sent His Son, my Lord Jesus Christ, to save us from the firery pits of hell and to live forever with Him in eternal security is all too overwhelming for an individual to contemplate all at once. In any case my friend mn, This is what I live by; He died for me now I'll live for Him....OR....as Joshua said; Josh 24:15 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD Have a good day mn Shalom...><> BTW...Good URL you posted, however, I attempted to view some Bibles and the reply was error, access forbidden , I thought for a moment that I stumbled in the Garden ...smile...all other sites were working ok though.
