The fact of the matter is that whenever anything really significant has been accomplished by our government, it is precisely because it was better than the American people.

How can that be? American are inherently superior to people from all other countries.

Surprising......isn't it? We are God's country.

If you've been to Europe, you know how much animosity exists over this issue. I am so glad this über nationalistic crap never took with me. I never would have had the good times I had in Europe if it had.

I don't think anyone has said that.

But in recent times Old Europe has shown itself unable to make competent foreign policy decisions, and because the US is a slave to the UN, it effectively keeps our OWN foreign policy mired down in a bureaucracy and unable to make competent policy ourselves.

This is reflected in some of the failures of the GWB administration. Of course, the Obama administration embraces incompetent foreign policy, so Obama failures are his own doing more than ones resulting from interference from Europe.
