Laughably designed RTP tool? Oh yeah, the one where amat went from no position in RTP 2 years ago to market leader, and market leader by some margin over no strong number two. Imagine if they ever get it right. If you post with positive or negative coments, which i stress this thread needs both, please do so with some semblence of facts or opinion based on facts.
Kumar, Dave: you are both right. everything worrisome Dave has been posting is dead on and factual in its essence. Guys, short term there is cause for concern, IF you are margined or short term oriented. When amat back at 108 was at a P/E of 50 everything and I mean everything going forward had to stay perfect to stay at such a valuation. Now at current P/E things still are relatively rich valued relative to historicall average P/E unless for example it is clear we are on the launching pad again. Can anyone say that for sure? No way.
However, All kumar and my previosly posted points are equally valid, but only long term where all the sawtooth gyrations of the stock price in this volatle market get shaken out.
You know, I have held amat( my only tech holding) and 7 other stocks for many years. when there was no internet and daily/hourly fretting over stock info a body could relax. I suggest for all the non traders to relax, visit the thread at you leisure for entertainment, but take the long view if you can.
