You probably are aware of this but the civil unrest in SA is really getting out of control. In the past two years, I've met three or four South Africans who have either left the country or are looking for a new home. (I met them in India, SE Asia and here in the US.) One fellow from Cape Town said the crime, even in that formerly safe city, was so bad you had to be careful anywhere even during the day. He was born and raised there and the family went back generations. He'd just sold his house and the rest of his assets. He had little hope it would get anything but worse.

I suspect this must have some impact on valuations.
