I'm 51, what generation does that make me? :) there was no 'me' generation, imo. alot of me people. but no 'generation'. a generalization that works for media talk and left/right talk, but holds no water. imo. or maybe I am simply a 'me' person. maybe I just think a few people do not define a 'generation'.

I apologize. I am of 'that' age and took offence where I think none was meant by you. but I will offer a punk song that was a fave of mine in my early 20's... it summed up what I thought about the 'me' generation, and ... well... I didn't have much use for them. :)

youtube.com

it is very much a punk song, but maybe a tad rough for folks here.
