Then why do so many people not have health insurance in TX?

Hell, anyone in his right mind would rather live in SFO than DFW or Austin -- all things being equal. But all things aren't equal. The jobs situation in TX is better than CA because TX knows how to encourage employers to locate there.

That's because land, construction and labor costs are cheaper. Why is that? Because the average joe doesn't get any perks. And you think that's better? Its better only for the rich.
