I've never really considered Oprah a hard-hitting questioner. Never had the impression that she's even a little controversial. I'm sure her staff will give her some good questions but I think she likes to be liked. (Fairness disclosure: I've never watched her show. Just going by the press clips.)

I'm interested also. She didn't know how to handle Gibson when he was sneering at her. I'm sure she is better prepared now. There is a reason that I'm not a politician and the Gibson interview would point that out perfectly. She was a bit like a deer in the headlights while he grilled her on the Bush doctrine. Oral on same show. Charlie baby, tell me, do you peer over your half glasses sneering at all your fine folks that you interview or have you saved that for me. Cause I have to tell you that if you keep yacking at me in your condescending manner I'm going to shove those glasses up your ass and then bitch slap you just for the fun of it on national tv. So what you say big guy, you want to continue to sneer or should we talk?
