You may need to change a few items to get the same result...but here's my recipe.....

exit drive and travel east 4 miles.

turn right on 19S

go 3 blocks and make sharp right into lot.

drive around to speaker.

place order.

drive up to window.

pay and receive bagels.

Eat.

I tried Googling your request "chewey New York style bagel recipe" and found this which is 5 star rated from like 12 reviewers. Note: I have tried to make bagels many times and sadly I must agree with others to buy them already made. My bagels are always a flop.

I had one years ago. It was from either a Cooking Light or Gourmet magazine. Try epicurious.com, which is a very good recipe site in my opinion.

I made the water bagels. Kinda cool.
