Roubini like the rest of the one good call wonders is full of doodoo. Anyone can get lucky and he did. If the carry trade was so into buying US$ we wouldn't have a currency issue. Also the commodity rise is due to the weakness in the US$. Thee are gazzillions of $'s out there with no place to go. They can't be sold so they create asset bubbles. Buy the commodities because they're harder to screw up than companies.
