You are right. JS/Redir came back on my system after about a day. I see I am not alone with this problem.

I don't think it's a major security problem, otherwise I am sure I would heard more about it. I will look to see if I can fix the problem over the next few days.

JS/Redir is showing up in lots of places, this one seems to show a fix.
