We usually don't have Summer, but we sure did this last one. Over 100 for 5 days. It was heaven even without AC.

I too would jump for joy at the sight of snow on the ground.

We had a little VW bug with studs all around and could go anywhere. Course I skied, so snow was like a gift to me. We lived up near Aspen. A little town called Basalt. The poor section. Trailer trash! ;)

Buffalo is appealing. And I'm even looking at Detroit

One thing I'll say, there are some housing "values" in Detroit.

We've got an operating Bed & Breakfast with 3400 sf house and 4 acres we'd sell you near Ann Arbor. Much nicer than Detroit.

Oh, gosh...we lived in Buffalo for nearly 4 years...HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter...very much a 'lake effect' from Lake Erie..... Some great people there, but we really think it is a wonderful place to be 'from'.....
