Oh, gosh...we lived in Buffalo for nearly 4 years...HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter...very much a 'lake effect' from Lake Erie..... Some great people there, but we really think it is a wonderful place to be 'from'.....

That's how I feel about SE Michigan. My mother always wanted me to move home, but I could never get interested in living there again. Flat, boring, and as you say, hot (and humid) in summer, cold (and damp) in winter.

sounds like Buffalo might need a summertime visit to see what I think of it. :)

what a Halloween here. The numbers grow every year. I bought for 75 this year, then had to raid my chocolate kiss stash, and the last two lil ones got baggies of ... corn candy (there is a name for that stuff). Then I just turned the lights out. That was fun.
