It isn't as though I absolutely must have MLB in my life.

That's you. Not true of an awful lot of folks from families with generations of fathers taking sons to the games. No the Yankee's have no competition.

Inode, > I can choose amongst innumerable entertainment options, and baseball is one of them. If the price gets too high, I just do something else.

Kind of stupid to justify an 80% tax on all income above $800K just because you're upset that baseball games are so expensive these days.

I'm going to take my wife to an Andrea Bouchelli concert in December. Tickets start at $75 and go all the way up to $350. OMG, that's too much! Quick, somebody tax that greedy singer and give it back to the poor members of the audience!

Let's not forget about movie tickets being ridiculously expensive these days. All that money going into the pockets of ultra-liberal celebrities like Michael Moore.

Call these liberals out on their B.S., and they'll accuse you of being a whiner. Which is ironic given how they deal with their own anger.

"I can choose amongst innumerable entertainment options, and baseball is one of them."

You're assuming baseball is a business, and not a hobby of very rich people. Which is what it is.
