I have no axe to grind on this subject however...

Ed Steer in his Gold&Siver Daily (via caseyresearch.com) this AM notes that there is a 12.9m share short position on GLD: "..that represent 1.29m ozs (of gold) that should be backing those shares..and deposited in the GLD ETF but aren't. That should be illegal."

Many other knowledgeable commentators have noted that the fine print for GLD dismisses the requirement that there be a specific share#/gold oz ratio....

there do appear to be some oddities with GLD and SLV..CEF has too large of a premium..

I am looking at the Swiss funds-

ZKB GOLD ETF A USD(Swiss: ZGLDUS.SW)

ZKB SILVER ETF AUSD(Swiss: ZSILUS.SW)

Any thoughts on these 2??
