my only holdings are in physical PMs right now. i do not do ETFs my fear is that ETFs may get eaten away just like cirrhosis or cancer does to the liver over time. it would not surpise me if one day PM ETFs get cut in half or worse because of some problem with actual PMs holdings or other typical problems . as always actual physical possession is better/safer than paper positions. during the enron scandal, if one could have invested directly in NG (difficult for most and for me) he would have done well, however for enron it was a GTZ. the same may happen to gold stocks and/or ETFs, but who really knows how long ETFs could be safe? maybe forever. only prometheus has the ability to regenerate the liver, so you may have better luck than others.
