Couldn't agree more! I got a nice roast for $1.88 lb at the store last week. I put it in my crock pot and cooked it all day. I decided the only thing it was good for was hot roast beef sandwiches. So...........I had some left over beef gravy in the freezer. From something I did last month.....can't remember what??? Took the roast out. Sliced it nice and thin and put it in a pot with the left over gravy. Heated it all up and voila! Nice touch was.....the left over gravy had some chanterelles in it. Yum!
