"Vampire Squids"?!? I'll skip your house Saturday.

All I ask is what charity to donate to.

11/6/09 update
Whatever vampire squids spooked stocks the prior Friday vanished into the mist when the Halloween moon set. So it was another week of fun & games on Wall Street, with biotechs partying particularly hard. At Friday's close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 34.41% CYTD, or Contest Year To Date, (vs. up 30.13% CYTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 12.04% CYTD (vs. up 5.98% CYTD a week ago)and the Contest median up 11.67% CYTD (vs. up 1.72% CYTD a week ago).
Although the Contest pecking order was unchanged, the contenders did narrow the gap quite a bit. The week's closing CYTD percentages are: RKRW up 108.27%, GENE up 81.94%, NIGEL up 76.80% and GEORGIA up 71.50%.
At Friday's close, 19 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and 16 of the 32 were beating the NBI.
Have a fine fall weekend biotechies!
