Insider Trader lists a Form 4 as being filed with the SEC during the week of 10/10/97 showing that Peter P. Gombrich, CEO and Chairman of AccuMed, purchased 20,000 shares of ACMI at an average price of $3.06/share between 9/10/97 and 9/12/97.

Ryan, I hope you are feeling a little better tonight. In my opinion AccuMed's stock passed a major test today. It appears the momentum players have left and are chasing their pot of gold elsewhere. The ride is probably going to be a little bumpy until the market retests its lows of last Monday. I believe when the bull starts running again this stock will perform well.

I was a little nervous posting this morning that I thought ACMI wouldn't drop today. I was afraid of being accused of hyping the stock, but I couldn't let the predictions of ACMI selling for less than a dollar go unchallenged. Knowledgeable investors purchase stock based upon future performance and not on past performance! Nothing in the press release yesterday changed the predicted future performance of this company.

I believe that successful investors are those who keep their heads when those around them are losing theirs. Those who sold this morning at $1 7/8 hoping to purchase back at a lower price may never get the opportunity.

I don't know about you, but it bugs me when a person posts solely for the purpose of bragging about how they were smart enough to get out at a higher price implying the rest of us are somehow inferior to their great wisdom. Hind sight is always 20/20!

It will be interesting to see which stock has the highest percentage increase in price a year from now, ACMI or BNGO. Some prefer to purchase stocks that are trending up near their 52 week high (BNGO), others like myself prefer to purchase stocks that have great potential and are severely depressed compared to others within their industry (ACMI).

Have a good weekend. Next week could be another roller coaster.
