We missed that drive while we were there. I think I would be a little nervous too, but the scenery is great.

Karen, that photo appears to be facing north, which would be the direction you would want to be driving to be a little less scary (hugging the mountain edge instead of the dropoff edge). Unfortunately the one time I drove it, I was driving in the opposite direction (south toward Durango), and it was quite unnerving. I wonder why it doesn't have guardrails.
