I think there were conflicting signals coming out of EVG. My impression is that QH was more aligned with the retail shareholders and not in favor of doing a financing until later. Bickhead was slippery and kept saying stuff along the lines of "we have plenty of money but then again, you should take it when it is offered, just in case" and "we won't do it for less than 1.50". I think for the most part, people on these forums believe what they are saying. Even if it turns out not to be true.

Indication at show was money is OK.. Easy to believe what you want to hear at times.. Turned out to be a huge waste of time for me....... AEM has been my best gold buy.. and I am kicking myself for not buying ABX when I planned to the other day.. I had just mentioned it in a PM.. although I doubt it is too late.. I need to get a much bigger spatula I guess.... and a bigger shovel also.. :o(

I don't care for the use of " lying bastards " regarding your fellow posters here. I held EVG for the news only to suffer the disappointment as it underwhelmed and so I sold and posted so. I clearly addressed the PP issue and how EVG appeared to be botching the whole future of EVG finances with DR.Q, who is a prominent member of the board, but he is not the entire board. Dr. Q clearly stated he was not in favour of a hasty PP., the fact the board has approved a lousy, ill timed, ill priced PP now does not make Dr. Q a "lying bastard" nor others here who may have mistakenly assumed his desires would carry the board vote. Pretty obvious there is a rift on the board IMO. Maybe you should use the Advanced Search function to look back on your posts after all the PP talk and the failure to follow up on the high grade that still had you post this about EVG on Oct. 20 "I have this sneaking suspicion that my remaining EVG shares have now become an "investment". OK with me. BTW, just bought a little at .98. Beats going to Vegas. lol" I have every sympathy on EVG sucking wind, we all get hurt as we all know the odds are against the individual investor and I assume we all feel for each other but the tone of your post was unnecessary and inaccurate. I heard off-line that they weren't interested in doing a PP, around the time the stock first broke 1.30 to the downside ... the fellow involved would have been mostly interested in the geology, so almost certainly would have spoken with Quinton H, not the admin/finance types, but the answer was definite, no because not needed and they wanted to get out more results and get the stock up first ... doubt if i ever posted this, wasn't that interested in the stock myself at the time, sitting on house-money shares waiting for it to bottom out, and had other faves on the go, also i clearly recall the same thing being said here anyway, even then [and more so a few weeks later] ogr.v - Oro did the same, just earlier is all and we've forgotten, they got the stock up a little and then did a really big financing from which the thing is still suffering ... too much of this around now, it takes out the topside, self-defeating ultimately because if they don't let retail make anything retail will find some other game to play ... but there's huge pressure for cheap PPs from the ho' houses, hard for companies to resist Questioning the marital status of posters' parents is always fine, but the word 'lying' is unparliamentary ... i reccoed ogi's post
