"abolish the Fed"

Exactly.
But they're here. So, I can accept that they have their claws dug in and make the best of the situation. The way our system is set up, you - YOU, Average Joe Investor - can be an owner of the banks, too! Just pony up and buy a few shares of C or BAC or WFC, right? Well, had you purchased and held any one of those over that last ten years, you'd be DOWN nominally, let alone outpaced by inflation. Try to bet with them and you still lose.

Jefferson was so right.

I need to consider my investments over longer terms. This worrying about fluctuations based on Oversold/Overbought, earnings season, Fed Statements, CNBC....what--ever, only has me spinning my wheels.
