I heard an interview with the CEO of MGM/Mirage. I can't remember the exact number but it was like 18K people they have laid off and he flat said they won't be coming back. We've learned to live without them and it will stay that way in this business environment. I can also say from personal experience that the Venetian is getting by with much fewer employees even though business has picked up considerably since April when we were last there.

Jobless recovery for sure.

Lets keep this news in perspective. Reagan had a higher unemployment rate and won re-election in a landslide.

With things looking increasingly bleak for Obama and the dems, a retreat to the past is all that's left for poor Kenneth. If this keeps up, Ann may have to ask us for an extra measure of sympathy for her pet troll. <g>

Kenneth try to stick to the present! The past is past!!
