I believe we are going to suffer more deflation rather than inflation in the coming years, but I'm still formulating my thoughts and ideas around that belief. I don't know enough of economics to know whether we're in for inflation or deflation. I'm a 7/1 ARM, however, that adjusts this year. It likely will adjust down, but I don't want to risk further adjustments if we get into an inflationary cycle. In the process of a refi that will knock the rate down .75% on a 30 year fixed.
