"Downturn puts brakes on rapid change in Florida Keys" I took a walk around SLC's downtown Friday. The Moromon church bought the entire city block across from it's main Temple, and is redoing EVERY building in the city block, which included two high rise buildings with two shopping malls in their lower floors. Looking at the downtown here, you'd think there was a BOOM here in this city. But, it's all the church spending it's billions. It'll give the Church control over the entire block, since it is private property. They've already ejected a gay couple for kissing!
