Frank, According to the S&P stock report on ACMI, "the company is developing software and hardware for a second generation, fully automated, high volume, mapping product, the TracCell 2500 to augment its workstation product offering." Does anybody know anything about this TracCell 2500 system? Is this AccuMed's answer to a primary screening system? It appears that while AccuMed's competition is busy developing single product companies, AccuMed is quietly going about its business evolving through its microbiology and cytopathology divisons into a single source company to meet all the high tech diagnostic and screening needs of the clinical laboratory, pharmaceutical and veterinary segments of the health care industry.
