my lap top is an acer...........I've really liked it, but it is too heavy. It was on sale, last yrs model, and I also got a $100 dollar off coupon from my computer guy, so I went for it. I think I paid a total of $289.99? One problem I've had is it came with Vista and I had my guy replace it with XP......of which I am glad.........BUT it did crash a couple of weeks later and "my computer" is named something different now. It didn't crash because of anything he did, it crashed because it over heated. I now use a cooling mat with fans. ;)
