Weren't you one of the guys claiming you were a "centrist"?

Intellectually dishonest. Totally. No centrist can look at what Obama has done and tried to do and be pleased with it.

So while the GOP loves to spend a trillion on wars and nation building in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Dems are doing nation building right here at home. It's about damn time.

Good post and welcome back to the thread. The thread 'hood has become much more polluted since you left... almost hard to tolerate.

Meanwhile, US health care is one of the few industries in this country where no competition exists, as evidenced by continual increases in costs

What doesn't continually increase in cost? My dad sold hamburgers 6 for a dollar back in the 60s. Today, a burger & fries will cost you 7 bucks. Everything cost more.

Health care cost more because we're getting so much more. People who, 30 years ago, would have died at 60 are now living into their 80s. That's the principal reason medicine cost more today, the the "competition" argument is a blatant liberal lie.

And Dems are about to pass a reform bill that will shave tens of billions off the national costs to support health care,

There is no bill under consideration that will save money. Not one, and certainly not the turkey that just passed in the House.

That you believe otherwise is a testament to your own gullibility; anyone who has even superficially considered the legislation recognizes that it ADDS to the cost of healthcare, NOT reduces.

And what is the GOP doing? Nothing but obstruction as usual.

The GOP has been cut out of the process. They have no say, whatsoever. Not only can they NOT contribute, but they can't obstruct as you have claimed. You foolishly installed an undivided government and the result is extremist liberal policy that is the most fiscally irresponsible in history.

Nobody in the GOP WANTED to spend the 600 Billion on wars. We were attacked, you f*cking goof.

I guess you're like RW -- of the opinion we should have just written it all off as bad luck. Most of America would not have agreed with that view.

The GOP was doing fine until Pelosi and Reid started destroying America after the 2006 election.

Too bad you need to rewrite history to justify allowing the same people that created all of today's problems, screw us over a second second time.

Throwing trillions at wallstreet democrats isn't "nation building".

Let me guess, a man that cheated on his taxes for four years before getting caught twice, doesn't bother you at all sending trillions to his buddies...
